Got called into work this morning due to the fact the lady that normally works couldnt get out of her driveway for the flooding..

water, water everywhere... and there's more to come. Its a pretty impressive, and sad, sight. What i was most worried about all day long is the fact that i was sitting about 4 feet away from a stop bank with the water lapping less than a meter from the top...

Anyways, the other thing i wanted to comment on was NZ idol. everyones had their 5 cents worth, and i didnt really want to comment because the competition has just started and yea, no ones really had a chance to shine yet. One thing that was so hard not to notice (and dont call me a racist im just making a point) was the lack of white people in the competition, i mean the ratio is about 1:10, seriously.

the other thing i noticed was the lack of talent that has been presented so far.. i was kinda impressed by a few of the male conteestants, but the girls... i was highly dissapointed. good luck to the judges i say, its going to be hard to find a true star (or person who has one or two hits and a failed record just because they won the comp)amoungst that lot if i do say so myself.

I hope they dont show it anywhere but in nz, because that would be embarassing i think.
